USC Roski School of Art and Design | Proposal

Interdisciplinary Marketing

Similar to the new USC fashion minor, Roski marketing can embrace an integrated, “interdisciplinary” approach to engage all USC constituents

PROPOSAL:

Expand ROSKI TALKS, evolving the platform into all-star* round-table discussions with a diverse panel of USC faculty, pertinent graduates, and creative visionaries in the business world.

*The current Roski Talk schedule has creative all-stars and should continue! But the idea is to cast a wider-net for creative/business leaders with large social media followers to amplify the message and get more eyeballs!

The idea is to foster culturally relevant conversations that resonate with live audiences, generate national press, and build buzz - ultimately solidifying Roski as a key player in "the creative capital of the world."

Additionally, this round-table format acts like a content engine - with clips, insights, and thought leadership ideas purpose-built for social media

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS

>Establish

Craft a distinctive, ownable identity for the series, reinforcing brand recognition and solidifying ROSKI TALKS as a recognizable and influential entity

>Elevate

Implement advancements in lighting, utilize higher-end cameras, and select premium venues to enrich the visual and production quality, elevating the overall ROSKI TALKS experience and discussion impact

>Expand

Seamlessly integrate live-streams on platforms like IG, Twitch, and others, broadening our audience reach and fostering real-time engagement with the ROSKI TALKS community

Taking inspiration from the new fashion minor, here are 6 rough roundtable concepts to breathe life into interdisciplinary marketing…
